Great service from Rory today. We are on a cycling holiday and came in for an emergency repair on our son's bike. Fixed it in no time! Very friendly and knowledgable chap and he even helped us with a new bulb for the lighting board.
Rang this morning to enquire about wipers for my Mini Cooper and a very helpful happy sounding woman answered my call. That made me want to buy from this store and considering I had a choice she has done a good job for Halfords. Well done. People are too quick to complain but sometimes should rake time to compliment !
Went to Berwick for cv boot grease,nobody knew what that was,when I asked for cv boot clips,again I had to told them what it was. The manager asked me if I had a Mobile phone with me so I can google it!!!!!!!Bad service,no knowledge!!!!
Terrible service from manager. (7pm 24th November 2017). I am wanting to buy an E-bike for my partners birthday just after Christmas. I went in to the Berwick store on the above date, chose the bike and said would order. I then asked as a matter of good customer relations, would they slime the tubes and include in the price of the bike. The manager was not keen to, the best he would do was two for one. I was disappointed with the attitude and in the end said to forget the order. So for the sake of 5 Halfords have lost out on an expensive order from a loyal customer. I spend an awful lot of money in this store, that is surely the least they could have done. Very poor service. I will buy from elsewhere, eBay, Amazon ect.
Good range but expensive - often astonishingly so. Almost always a better bet to head for the industrial estates and independent autospares dealers.
