I hate Homebase. It seems to stock poor quality expensive items. Sadly it's the only DIY warehouse for miles, but I tend to go without rather than buy anything. The staff are very nice but this is the only redeeming feature.
Gone down hill since it was sold. Hardly has anything that you actually need and seems to push more tat than anything. Cap it off that the prices are too high for what they do have you are better off shopping elsewhere!
Friendly staff really useful when there is so much tat to fight through to find DIY products you actually need!
I needed to find a good drill as a present, and after searching for a member of staff for 25 minutes, I finally found one. Went to the tills and had to wait another 30 minutes only to get told that I cant buy it as I am not 25. Im 20 and I will never go back.
Very pleased it wasn't lined up for closure. Has everything a household needs from DIY, gardening plus much more,, only negative point,, please have enough checkouts manned
