Very clean restaurant, the staff are welcoming and the food was brilliant. The music is at a nice background level too so no need to yell at each other while eating. Highly recommend and hope to get back soon.
Very attentive service. The food is prepped from scratch so be prepared to wait for mains. Great selection. Salmon was cooked beautifully. Reasonable prices. Fabulous gin!
A nice varied menu. Took a while after ordering to come to the table but that's cause it was cooked fresh. Very nice food with good music. Friendly staff. Would come again
Three of us had the set lunch, two courses for 8.50. The food was good to very good, perfectly cooked and well presented, excellent value at that price and better than any other restaurant food we've had in Berwick. I was surprised that the salad was clearly freshly made from fresh ingredients and not (as seems to be the norm nowadays) just tipped out of a bag. The waiting staff were great! The large room is impressive and nicely decorated. Just one small quibble: the lady behind the bar taking payment was brusque and humourless, which was a shame given the warmth of the waiting staff, but it may have just been a bad day.
Excellent meals. Main course and desert beautifully presented and tasted wonderful we also left feeling full. We were kindly served a free cocktail in celebration of royal wedding today. A shame we only came upon this restaurant at the end of our holiday or we would be back tomorrow. The chef takes pride in what he does and spoke to customers explaining how he combines flavours. 6* from us.
