The brown bear is a very plesant place..a good selection of ales. Wasnt very busy when we visited. Very clean and bright. Staff was very friendly also. Would recommend a visit.
Just switched hands when we went. Staff lovely. Food just ok.
If you are passing or making a planned visit for a drink or two then why not pop into the Brown Bear? Nice little pup with a friendly atmosphere, dogs welcome. When we went it had just been taken over by new management and didn't do food, but was assured that will change over the next few weeks...........
Bar manager really friendly ,a good pub with live music and good selection of drinks .
Good food pity about the surroundings. They have a lovely sun spot at the back which could be made much more of. Inside boxes of stuff were lying about. I believe it has recently been taken over so hopefully it will be a great place soon.
