This is a first and foremost B&B now. Only do meals for residents. Our stay was first class made to fell really welcome on arrival by the owner. The room was emaculate and well supplied with tea coffee and milk. Our bed was comfortable and we both slept well for not being in our own bed.We were going to just eat in the first night and go out the following but our meal was so good we eat here all weekend. Our breakfasts were also amazing I had the Full English both days and my partner had Smoked Haddock one day and Poatched Egg and toast all truly delicious. This is one of the best and cleanest and frendlist B&B's that we have stayed in if we're ever back down I this region will be hoping that there are vacancies here.
This is one of the nicest, most pleasant guest houses I have ever stayed in.A lovely, warm and friendly welcome from the owners. The rooms are clean, beautifully decorated, and a nice selection of teas, herbal teas, coffees and biscuits. The duvets are plump and fluffy, on comfortable Silent Night beds.Our room overlooked their beautiful garden.Breakfast is very generous, they won't let you leave hungry! Good quality food, done to perfection.The breakfast room has a lovely ambience, soft lighting, and soft, gentle background music of popular melodies.There is also a bar here, and a pool table.Everything was beautiful and perfect. We will definitely be back again next year.Thank you.

This is the fourth year we've stayed at the Rob Roy and again it was very good.Linda and Ian are excellent hosts and the food was delicious. Breakfasts are very very good and dinners lovely. If Lamb chops are on the menu do choose them my wife tells everyone about them!The rooms are immaculate and well maintained,plenty of hot water.We stay at the Rob Roy and toured the border's.We've already booked for next year!!Roy and Margaret.
