Staff great. Very helpful and when I asked for more coffee and milk, sugar. I received a bag full of each. Everything was great except only one grip!! Room very clean except handprints all over the wall next to the bed!! Can only assume from this, the previous occupants where on their honeymoon!!
A VERY RUDE RECEPTIONIST. Had a delivery of pizza to a guest at the Berwick upon Tweed Travelodge. Usually, the nice receptionist will phone the guest on arrival to relay that the delivery has arrived. Tonight (Monday 21st January 7.10pm) when l asked very nicely could you phone the guest, this person behind the desk very rudely said "It's not upto me to ring, you will have to do it yourself". Just like that. Very abrupt and bad mannered and poor for customer relations to speak to someone like that .l have been a good customer of Travelodge, but after this, l will think twice before using Travelodge or recommending. (Especially the Berwick upon Tweed branch). Will use the Marriot Hotel or similar in the future .ALL IN ALL A VERY POOR SHOW.
Very good, But front car park was been used by Mcdonald customers for leaveing food and rubbish on floor, and late night loud music and joy riding. Travelodge was very good, and a low price for a double room
No towels in the room, had to ask at reception for them. No restaurant to eat, and with my work we had an allowance so couldn't use it. Good job they had a Macdonalds, Morriisons where the cafe shut at 7, and we arrived at just after 6 and a hotel near by, the person at the reception couldn't say the word of the hotel said we needed a car to get to it when it was walking distant, OK maybe needed a car cause it was dark. Room was cold, the only thing was the bed was comfy, think the where it was situated would have been nice but only saw it in the dark.
Above average Travelodge. Rooms were clean and the staff helpful. Despite being near the sea the herring gulls do shut up overnight.
